// ABOUT SPARKIN

Built by people who filed their own paperwork first.

Before Sparkin Advisory was a consulting practice, its founders were applicants — sitting across the same forms, the same evidence binders, and the same uncertainty our clients face today.

// OUR STORY

Immigration guidance shaped by lived experience.

Sparkin Advisory started as a side project: a small group of engineers and researchers who had each gone through the EB1A and NIW process comparing notes on what worked, what got denied, and what no one had explained clearly the first time around.

That project became a practice because the gap was bigger than any of us expected. High-skilled applicants were either paying for generic document review or navigating a 200-page policy manual alone. We built the thing we wished we'd had: a team that combines strategic case-building with a writer's eye for how a story actually reads to an examiner — then hands it off, filing-ready, to an immigration attorney.

We know which parts of this process feel impossible, because we've sat on the other side of the same desk. That's the entire reason Sparkin Advisory exists.

// WHAT DRIVES US

Four principles behind every case we take

Empathy first

We've filled out the same forms. We know where the anxiety lives and design our process around reducing it.

Evidence rigor

Every case is built against current USCIS adjudication trends, not a template written five years ago.

Straight talk

If your case isn't strong enough yet, we say so — and give you a real plan to get it there, not false confidence.

Long-view advocacy

We aim for a permanent outcome — a green card — not just the fastest visa that buys a few more years.

// WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

The backlog didn't happen by accident.

Employment-based green card categories were introduced in 1990 to bring skilled workers to the U.S. permanently. Decades later, per-country caps mean applicants from a handful of nations can wait years longer than everyone else for the exact same qualifications — which is why a well-built, criteria-driven case matters more than ever.
